Step-by-step Guide for 2012 Phoebus Criminal Justice Initiative grant applications
The deadline to apply for a grant from the Phoebus Criminal Justice Initiative has passed. Please check back for the next cycle in the Fall of 2013.

Members of 2009 grantee organization, Youth Art Self-empowerment Project, meet with an editor from the Philadelphia Daily News at a Bread & Roses workshop.
Step 1: Review the eligibility criteria
The Phoebus Criminal Justice Initiative is a donor-advised fund that provides grants for criminal justice reform activism. Grantees target issues that include (but are not limited to) police accountability, racially biased sentencing policies, growth of the for-profit prison industry, criminalization of youth, and the death penalty. Read more about the fund, including past grantees, here.
Please review our detailed eligibility requirements here to make sure your organization qualifies for a grant.
